	Mike and Amy It's a boy! Zachary Thomas (5 lbs. 5 oz.), born on 1-11-13 Hi! Our names are Mike and Amy. Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about our family. We live in the Midwest and have been happily married for eight years. Since our wedding day our love has grown even deeper, and we are so excited about the prospect of becoming parents. We live in a two-story, four-bedroom home in a neighborhood full of young families. The open architecture of our home makes it ideal for hosting large family gatherings and entertaining friends.




	Robert and Traci Hi, our names are Robert and Traci, and this is our son, DJ. Thanks for reading about us. We're delighted to tell you our family's story. We are an active family, whether we're headed off on vacation or participating in one of the many kid-friendly activities in our neighborhood. We've traveled to Puerto Rico and up north to see family. We're regulars at our town's "Movie Night in the Park," and we have a great time at our community's ice cream socials.




	Howard and Freedom Hello. Our names are Howard and Freedom. We are happily married with two amazing kids. Our daughter Korrin is 16, and our son Jake is 14. We are all very excited about expanding our family through adoption. Our family story begins a few years ago, when we ran into each other at work. We became friends and later started dating. It was clear that we were a match. We shared many interests and felt a real connection. Four years later, on Valentine's Day, we were married.




	Catherine Hi, my name is Catherine, and I'm delighted to share my story with you. I love my work as a nurse and am excited to take on the greatest job of all, being a mother. I live in a very child-friendly neighborhood with a lot of parks and playgrounds. It's also a great community for hiking and bike riding, two of my favorite hobbies. I love to stay active, and when I'm not hiking and biking, I'm doing yoga or heading off to the mountains to go skiing with friends.




	Roger and Kelly Hello, we are Roger and Kelly, and this is our beautiful daughter, Onika. We met 15 years ago while on a military assignment in the Midwest and immediately were inseparable because of our shared sense of humor and ability to make each other laugh. And we are still laughing after being married for 11 years. We have a wonderful home, supportive family and friends, strong marriage, and are excited to expand our family through adoption. Our daughter is extremely excited to be a big sister and is "ready to teach [her] new sibling everything."




	Jeff and Lynn Hi, we're Jeff and Lynn, and this is our story. Our lives together began in 2009. We had an amazing friendship, and eventually our friendship grew into true love. We were married in April 2012. Our paths had actually crossed several times before we began to date. We both attended the same school. Jeff was a few years older in school and was very active in sports, while Lynn was active in music: band, orchestra and choir.




	Malachy and Kilmeny Hello, we are Malachy and Kilmeny. Some say we were destined to be together because of our unique Irish names, and we definitely agree. Thanks for taking a moment to read about our family. We were blessed to adopt our beautiful daughter, Stephanie, in 2010. She fit right in with her two big brothers, Malachy and Kevin. Now we all excited to have more little ones running around our home, in addition, that is, to our beloved four-legged family member, Blaise.




	Rob and Teri Hello! We are Rob and Teri. Thanks for considering us as parents. We were high school sweethearts and have been together for over 23 years. We have two wonderful boys, Jake and Chase, and are looking forward to adding another member to our family. Teri is a veterinarian but since the boys were born has opted to be a stay-at-home mom, so she could absorb all the joys of motherhood. Rob is a very active father.




	Jennifer and Rebecca Hello. We're Jennifer and Rebecca. Thanks for taking time to read about our story. We met in 2000 and instantly became friends. It didn't take long to realize that that friendship was growing into something more: a committed and loving relationship that is now 12 years strong. We come from similar backgrounds. Both of our fathers own companies, and we learned about hard work and commitment from them. Our mothers are both loving and giving women who stayed home to raise us. They have been incredible role models.




	Aaron and Mark Hi, our names are Aaron and Mark. Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about our family. We have been together for eight years and are excited about expanding our family through adoption. We live in North Carolina, in a beautiful neighborhood with some fantastic parks and a wonderful, little creek running through our backyard. A special member of our family is Jackson, our miniature schnauzer. He's the cutest, gentlest dog and a real favorite of the children in our neighborhood.




	Trevor and Shannon Hello! Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about us. We are a happy family of three: Trevor (age 40), Shannon (age 34), and Sophia (almost 2!). Oh, and we can’t forget our first two babies: Mika and Toby, our puggles (pug/beagle mixes). Shannon has a master's degree in accounting, and Trevor has a master's in national security studies. We are both Army veteran linguists—Shannon speaks Korean, and Trevor speaks Russian and Serbo-Croatian—and enjoy travelling all over the world. Shannon is thrilled to be a stay-at-home mom to Sophia, our beautiful adopted baby girl.




	Zane and Michele Hi, we're Zane and Michele. Thank you for reading our letter. We love being parents and are excited about expanding our family. Our son Cyrus was born in June 2007, and he is the greatest gift we have ever received. Our relationship with his birthparents makes us true believers in the wonders of open adoption. We can't wait to adopt another child and create the family we have always hoped for. We met in college and have been together ever since.




	Kevin and Maria It's a boy! Sheridan (8 lbs. 3 oz.), born on 2-20-12 Hi, our names are Kevin and Maria. Thanks for learning more about our family. We have been married for several years and have a relationship based on love and commitment. We are very excited to become parents through adoption. Our home is in Colorado, in a great community with some beautiful parks and a strong school system. Kevin is the head master of a local school, and Maria has worked in programming. Parenting will be our first priority, and Maria is looking forward to staying home with the baby.




	Jeff and Bennesa It's a girl! Anneliese Danette (8 lbs. 10 oz.), born on 9-2-11 Hi! We are Jeff and Bennesa, and this is our son, Jayden. We have a wonderful family story to tell. We met 16 years ago through a mutual friend. After six years of dating, we married and just celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary. We adopted our son Jayden four years ago. That first adoption was a wonderful experience, and we are looking forward to sharing our love with a new baby. Jayden is also looking forward to becoming an older brother.




	Jeff and Karen Hello from the Silicon Valley. Our names are Jeff and Karen, and we want to thank you for reading our letter. We are very excited about becoming parents and look forward to providing a child with a loving home and every opportunity to succeed. We're an active couple, and we share a passion for hiking and camping. On weekdays you'll probably find us out with our two dogs, Rascal and Abby. On weekends, we head to the beach and enjoy the many benefits of the San Francisco Bay Area. Both of us love sports. Jeff enjoys playing soccer and basketball, and Karen is passionate about swimming and tennis.




	Jo My name is Jo, and I want to thank you for reading my letter. I am excited about becoming a mother and am looking forward to providing a baby with a warm and loving home. My parents and siblings are just as excited as I am to welcome another member into our family. They say it takes a village, and here in Dallas we have a great group of family and friends who are eager to help. Texas has always been home to me. I have been blessed with a very good life: a loving family, many wonderful friends, an excellent career, good health and a beautiful home in a phenomenal neighborhood. I am very excited to become a parent. Until now, I have been an active aunt, godmother and stepmother. I have also been a Big Sister to a teenager in my community. Now I would like to raise a child of my own. Let me tell you more about my family. I grew up in a small community in Florida just two blocks from the ocean. We were really fortunate to have the beach so nearby.




	Robert and Lauren Hello! We're Robert and Lauren. We want to thank you for considering us as parents for your baby. Our relationship is one of love and respect. It began as a deep friendship before it became something more. After three years of dating, we got married and have been together now for 12 years. We are very excited to adopt. Lauren is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom, and in his job as an accounting manager, Robert works a fairly regular 9-to-5 schedule, which means he will have lots of "dad time."




	Arnold and Nannette Hi, we're Arnold and Nannette. Thanks for taking time to read our letter. As we prepare to expand our family through adoption, we hope to get the opportunity to meet you and tell you more about our story. We met in Chicago, riding bicycles along the lakefront. Arnold was training for a charity event, and Nannette was unwinding after an overnight shift at the hospital. We rode and talked, and when we got to Nannette's neighborhood, we biked our separate ways. Less than a week later, fate found us riding side by side again.




	Jake and Jen Hello! We're Jake and Jen. We appreciate this opportunity to tell you about our family and our love of being parents. We have a beautiful three-year-old boy, Jude, and we are excited to expand our family through adoption. We live in northern California, on a cul de sac across the street from a fantastic park. It's a great place for our active lifestyle. We love biking and hiking, and in the winter, we head to the mountains for snowboarding and family fun.




	Scott and Renee Hello! We are Scott and Renee. Thanks for taking time to read our letter and learn more about our life and our family. We are excited about adoption and eager to provide a safe, loving and supportive home. We met several years ago during a soccer game. The sparks started to fly. We went out on a date and found out that we had so much in common. We grew up one block from each other and went to all the same schools, including college. We have now been married for five happy years.




	Michael and Lisa Hello. Our names are Michael and Lisa. A heartfelt thank you to you for considering us as adoptive parents. We would love to share our safe, secure and happy home with a child. We met at a party to celebrate the millennium and knew soon after that our relationship was something special. We were married seven years ago, have a great deal of respect for one another, and love each other very much. We share many of the same interests too, including a passion for music, movies and organic gardening.




	Chris and Patty It's a boy! Elias McKnight (8 lbs. 12 oz.), born on 7-4-11 We are Chris and Patty, and we are excited to begin our adoption journey. We met 11 years ago through mutual friends, and we never looked back. It was a whirlwind romance. Seventeen short months later we were married. Then, in 2003, we were blessed with the birth of our daughter, Gabriella. We both had full and happy childhoods, with lots of family and entertaining memories, and we intend to give that gift to our children as well. We have always wanted to have multiple children.




	Chris and Mary Elizabeth It's a girl! Elizabeth Anne Larkin (6 lbs. 2 oz.), born on 9-15-11 Elizabeth’s birthmom was referred by a friend of a friend. Hello and welcome to our family! We're Chris and Mary Elizabeth. Thanks for taking a moment to read about our us. We hope you feel God’s presence surrounding you and comforting you during this difficult time. Ours is a great family story. Mary Elizabeth was born and raised in Texas. She has a brother who is 15 months older and a sister who is eight years younger. Her mom and dad are both high school teachers and live next door to her 95-year-old grandmother. We are a super close family and get together about four times a year. Chris grew up in the rural Midwest. His dad worked for over 30 years as a carman for union pacific, and his mom was a kindergarden teacher.




	Tony and Sheila Hi, we're Tony and Sheila. Thanks for taking time to learn more about us. We have built a family environment filled with love, excitement and opportunity and look forward to sharing our lives with another child. We have two children, 12-year-old twins Rhett and Jessica. Both are very excited about having a new, younger brother or sister. Our family lives in Arkansas, where we operate a pine tree farm. Our home is in a great neighborhood where kids can ride bikes, build tree houses and take the paddle boat out for a spin in the nearby lake.




	Adam and Melissa Hi! We are Adam and Melissa, a young Christian couple from North Carolina, now living in California. We are excited to be adopting a baby. We both grew up on the beaches on North Carolina, just about an hour apart from one another. We met through mutual friends and were friends ourselves for about three years before we started dating. Then we fell in love. In August 2005 we returned to the beach, standing barefoot in the sand, with all our friends and family present, to dedicate our lives to each other and to the Lord.




	Ryan and Celeste Our sincere thank you to Lisa from Sweet Beginnings for finding Isadora's parents. Hi, we're Celeste and Ryan, and we're happy to tell you a little about our family. We have been together ever since we met in college, over 15 years ago. This September, we’ll celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary. Our family and friends are so excited that we are adopting. We are both the oldest children in our families. Celeste has two younger brothers, and Ryan has three. We are also both originally from Minnesota, though today our families are spread across the nation. We speak with them several times a week via phone or Skype.




	Wendell and David Hi there! We're Wendell, David and Gus. We want to thank for taking time to learn more about us. We met in August 2001 through friends and have been going strong ever since. So strong in fact, we married in San Francisco two years ago. Our mutual interest in music, art, family, travel and the company of friends has led us on many adventures together and eventually created the family you see here. We adopted Gus in November 2008 and have loved being fathers. We're excited to expand our family again.




	Chuck and Joanna Hi. We are Chuck and Joanna. Thank you for taking time to read our letter. We met in high school through a mutual friend and started dating. Through high school we would sit in our car and talk, eat Chinese food and go out on the weekends. After three high school proms together, Chuck went away to college in Ohio. In 1996 we were engaged and married two years later. Today we are the parents of two wonderful twin girls, Madeleine and Gracie, and are looking forward to adding another child to our family.




	Ann Hello! My name is Ann, and I live in southeastern Michigan. I welcome the chance to become an adoptive mom. I was adopted at birth, as was my older brother, so the gift of adoption has always been close to my heart. I was born and raised near Toledo, Ohio. I went to undergraduate school in Cleveland, then to graduate school in Columbus. I moved to Michigan for a job in 1993 and have been here ever since. I work in market research and am very fortunate to have a great job and to be surrounded by people who are incredibly supportive of my plan to adopt.




	Mike and Renee It's a girl! Thora Winifred (6 lbs. 13 oz.), born 2-1-11 Hello! We're Mike and Renee from Tampa Bay, Florida. We have a wonderful life here in the Sunshine State, with everything that a young, married couple of five years could want: a beautiful home, a great marriage and a fantastic son, Dax Michael. In January 2009 we adopted Dax. Being parents has been the greatest joy of our lives, and now we are excited about adopting again.




	Courtney and Meredith Hello, we're Courtney and Meredith, and this is our son, Chris. We adopted Chris is 2007, and he is the joy of our lives. He keeps us laughing and has an incredible sense of humor. We met in 1995 and became instant friends. We share a passing for sports, traveling and nature. We've now been married for 10 years and are both excited about expanding our family. Chris is excited too about becoming a big brother.




	Kate Hello! My name is Kate, and after years of investing in my education and professional training, I returned to my rural hometown in Northern California. I'm looking forward to adopting, knowing that my child will grow up surrounded by adoring uncles, grandparents, cousins and friends. Our small town is a great place to be a kid, with a wonderful children's art program, youth sports, great parks, excellent schools and annual cultural and food festivals that draw crowds from all over the world.




	James and Lisa It's a boy! Christopher Jason (6 lbs. 2 oz.), born on 12-12-10 Hello, we are James and Lisa from Virginia. Thanks for taking time to read about us. We have been together for 16 years, married for 12, and we are still best friends. We were ecstatic when we adopted Andy four years ago. He is eagerly looking forward to becoming an older brother. We live in a spacious four-bedroom home with a nice backyard, swing set and a sandbox where Andy loves to build sandcastles. He also likes to play Frisbee and ride bikes with all the children on our street.




	Dante and Sarah It's a boy! Brian Maximilian Jordan (7 lbs. 1 oz.), born 12-1-10 Thanks to Aimee Thibodeaux for referring Brian's birthmom to us. Hi, we are Dante and Sarah. Thanks for taking time to read our letter. We met while working together 15 years ago and got married on the beach four years later. Today we have a wonderful home, a strong marriage and are the parents of a great daughter, Macy, who is seven years old. We live in a beautiful spot in northern California, in a suburb with rolling hills and great parks, where we take Macy to play. In many ways it's a quiet suburb, but it has the cultural life of a thriving city.




	James and Terri It's a boy! Paul Levi (9 lbs. 3 oz.), born 11-13-10 Hi, we are James and Terri. We have known each other for seven years, and right from the beginning, we felt were soul mates. Today we live in a wonderful, family-oriented neighborhood outside of San Francisco. We have a three-bedroom home with a large yard, and we can't wait to add a swing set for our child. Terri runs a business from home and will be a full-time stay-at-home mom. We feel that is really important for child development.




	Sean and Amy Hello. Our names are Sean and Amy, and this is our son Collin. Collin is looking forward to being an older brother, and we are so excited to welcome another child into our family through adoption. We have been married for almost 10 years and have been together for over 14 years. Sean is a funny, smart, loving guy. As a father, he's patient and kind and always makes spending time with Collin a priority. Sean and Collin love to read books together and play softball. Amy has the best job in the world: a stay-at-home mom.




	Lee and Lisa Hi, our names are Lee and Lisa. Thanks for reading about our family. We have been together for nine years and have a wonderful home in Southern California. It's a great community for children. In fact, our house is right next to an elementary school. Lee is a man of many talents: a screenwriter, a painter, and he performs at comedy clubs. Lisa is in college studying psychology, but when the baby arrives, she'll set aside her studies and become a full-time, stay-at-home mom.




	Tom and Fran Greetings! We are Tom and Fran. Thanks for taking a moment to get to know us. We live in a residential neighborhood in Sacramento with our little dog Ella. Our tree-filled community is located near the zoo and many parks. Fran grew up in the Monterey Peninsula, where most of her family still resides. Her large family consists of two brothers, two sisters and her mother and father Cely and Mel. She has a degree from U.C. Davis and works on home remodeling. She is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom.




	Craig and Marty Hello from Craig and Marty. Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. Since our marriage 11 years ago, we have successfully established our careers and have built a loving home. We're excited about expanding our family through adoption. We live in beautiful Colorado, where we enjoy the majestic mountains, skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. We often go white water rafting and biking too.




	Jeff and Kerry Our names are Jeff and Kerry, and our son is named Carson. We are truly honored that you are considering us as adoptive parents. Let us tell you about our family story. It all began seven years ago in a coffee shop. Truly it was love at first sight, something neither of us had ever felt. We met at seven in the morning and just knew after talking for hours that this was it.




	Dan and Sharon Greetings from Dan and Sharon. We met six years ago and have been enjoying life's journey ever since. About four years ago we married, surrounded by family, friends and the beautiful outdoors. We feel like we have a lot to offer a child, including a large, supportive family. Our parents are very excited to become grandparents, and our sisters and brothers can't wait to become aunts and uncles. Our child will have plenty of cousins to play with too.




	Carey and Sheri Hello, we're Carey and Sheri, and we're happy to tell you about our family. We live in a wonderful community with lots of young children and friendly neighbors, the perfect place to raise a baby. Athletics are a big part of our family. Carey is a huge sports fan and can't wait to teach our child the joys of playball and skiing. Sheri has her own business as a certified personal trainer.




	Dave and Wendy It's a boy! Mason (6 lbs. 11 oz.), born 6-13-10 We are Dave and Wendy, and we sincerely thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We have been together for nine years and married for four. We met while working at a marketing agency in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dave was a technical director, and Wendy was the creative director. We even shared the same cubicle. Our time together grew from respect to friendship to love. In 2002 we got engaged during our trip to Italy, when Dave asked Wendy, "Sei mia moglie?" ("Will you be my wife?") We were married the following year in Colorado.




	Jim and Ann It's a girl! Rebecca Ann (7 lbs. 1 oz.), born 3-11-10 Hi, we're Jim and Ann, and this is our daughter Mia. Five years ago we met and fell instantly in love. We are true soulmates and share the same values and a desire to have more children. Since we both work out of our home, we have flexible work hours. And since adopting our daughter Mia in November 2007, we have been two full-time, stay-at-home parents.




	Erik and Pat Erik and Pat, and our son is named Timothy. We have a home filled with love and laughter, and we are looking forward to adding another member to our family. We adopted Timothy at birth in September 2008 and had a great adoption experience. We attended our son's birth and regularly send pictures and letters to his birthmom. Every day with his has been a great adventure.




	Mark and Shala Our names are Mark and Shala, and we're so glad you came to visit us. This is our dog, Cody. Three years ago we moved from Nebraska to Wyoming. We love it here. Our area has a mountain with a waterfall and a nice walkway along the Platte River. It's a great place to go for a walk with our dog. It's a safe and quiet neighborhood too. Have a seat and enjoy the view while we tell you a little about ourselves.




	Ron and Leslie Thank you so much for reading our letter. Our names are Ron and Leslie. We have three wonderful children: Eric, who is 15; Joshua, 10; and Nicole, the most energetic two year old in the world. All three of our children are adopted. The boys absolutely adore Nicole, and Nicole is excited about becoming a big sister.




	Steve and Karen Hello! We are Steve and Karen. We have two children, Christiane and Samuel, and we are excited about expanding our family. Adoption has been a blessing for us. We adopted both Christiane and Samuel are looking forward to loving and caring for another child. Both of us grew up with siblings, and we would like to offer our children the opportunity to experience the many wonders of having a large family.




	Lewis and Amanda We want to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. Our names are Lewis and Amanda, and we have been married for four years. We feel so blessed to have found each other. For us, it was love at first sight. Today we have two daughters, Samantha and Sarah, both of whom are very excited to have a younger sibling. We bought a home two years ago in the country, a great place on five acres with several young families nearby. The whole community gets together frequently for dancing, singing and games.




	John and Kari Hi. We are John and Kari, a married couple very much in love and looking forward to starting a family. Thanks for taking time to read about us. Our greatest dream is to be parents and to provide a wonderful life for children. We are blessed to own beautiful four-bedroom home on a quiet, tree-lined street in northern California. The center of our neighborhood is a large park with a great playground. We love to gather with friends in that park for concerts and impromptu barbeques.




	Brad and Sarah It's a girl! Madison Mary Elizabeth (7 lbs. 4 oz.), born on 10-20-09 Hi, our names are Brad, Sarah, Paul, Carly and Robert. Our dream is to adopt another child with whom we can share our love. We have been married for 15 years, and the greatest joy we have experienced has been adopting Carly (age 5), Paul (age 3) and Robert (age 2). They have brought us great happiness, and we have enjoyed the challenges and rewards of parenting. Our plan has always been to have four children. Sarah grew up in a large family and was the fourth of six children.




	Jeffrey and Michael We are Jeff and Michael, and this is our daughter Lily. We are excited about growing our family and having a sibling for Lily, and we hope you consider us in your child’s future. We met almost ten years ago being introduced by a mutual friend from our church. We realized early that we had much in common—faith, strong families, love of people, and the ability to laugh. We had talked from the beginning about raising a family through adoption.




	Donald and Suzanne Hi, we are Donald and Suzanne. Eight years ago we met through a mutual friend. This year we celebrated our sixth anniversary. We knew early in our relationship that we wanted to become parents, and we are excited about building a family through adoption. Donald is a vice president of a computer software company. Suzanne is looking forward to being a full-time, stay-at-home mom. We are committed to giving our child an excellent education.




	Nick and Miki Hello, we're Nick and Miki. We met on a blind date and fell in love. Today we have two beautiful children: Elizabeth, who is two years old, and William, who is one. We adopted both of our children, and we are looking forward to adding to our family once again through adoption. Our home is a busy place, and we love doing family activities, like going apple picking and swimming in our pool.




	Jeremy and Amanda We are Jeremy and Amanda, and our greatest wish is to become parents. We are hoping to fulfill our dreams through adoption. We are looking forward to providing a child with a loving home, a good education, church on Sunday, days at the beach and picnics at the park. Our home is located in a small town in northwestern Alabama. It's a wonderful community with good values, lots of green grass and fresh air. We love taking long walks in the woods and drives across the countryside. On weekends we grill steaks and watch college football.




	Chris and Tia Hi, we are Chris and Tia. We want to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We met in 2000, and we knew immediately that we were a perfect match. We were married one year later. In 2006 we were blessed with the adoption of our son Kieran. Kieran has filled our lives with joy and laughter, and now we are looking to expand our family once again through adoption.




	Meredith Hi, I'm Meredith. I live in Northern California, in a great neighborhood that's an ideal place for kids. I can't wait to be a mother. During the week I'm an attorney, and on the weekends I'm a horseback rider. Horses are my passion. Dogs too. I have three dogs. They love people and are wonderful with children. My home sits on an acre of land with a pool and a cabana and plenty of space for a swing set.




	Paul and Suzanne Hello from Southern California! Our names are Paul and Suzanne, and we are so excited about becoming parents. We live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of families, in a historic home that was built in 1924. Paul runs a business out of our home and will be a full-time stay-at-home dad. Suzanne works in marketing for a company that is just three miles from our house. Both of us are big Dodgers fans, and we are looking forward to sharing our love of baseball with our children.

We are a loving, committed couple who puts family above all else. The experience of being dads to Maximo has been such a wonderful journey, and we are looking forward to sharing that love with another child. We live in California, in a semi-rural community known for its wonderful schools, open recreational spaces, and kid-friendly activities. Our weekends are spent taking Maximo to the park, riding our bicycles and taking walks.

	Ann My name is Ann, and I want to thank you for taking time to read about me. I can't wait to begin a family. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to be a mother. I live in the Bay Area, about 20 miles from San Francisco. My street is very quaint. There are 24 homes, each built in the early 1930s in English cottage style and purposely placed near each other to promote a close community. We have one adopted son, Alexander Jaycen, who is almost three years old, and two small dogs, Cadey and Chelsea. We feel that now is the perfect time to add another child to our family. My love for children has always been a big part of who I am, and today as a doctor, I'm delighted by the chance to work with kids on a daily basis. I was born in the American heartland, in Billings, Montana.




	Michelle and Andrea Hi, we are Michelle, Andrea and Tyler. We are a fun-loving family from San Jose. We were honored by the opportunity to become parents to Tyler three years ago and eagerly await the chance to nurture and love another child. We have learned so much about the rewards and challenges of parenting and can't wait for another child to enter our lives and become part of our family.




	Marco and Carrollann Hello! We are very excited to tell you about ourselves. We met ten years ago in Bakersfield, Calif., and were married two years later in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. We have a wonderful six-year-old daughter named Aubrie and a black Labrador Retriever named Buck. We love spending time together and taking vacations to places like Italy, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, New York, Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas. We are also extremely involved in school, community and church activities.




	Rich and Eva Hi, we're Rich and Eva. We want to introduce ourselves and let you know a little about us. We have been happily married for 12 years and have known each other for 22 years. We have a very loving and stable marriage, and we have a wonderful eight-year-old son named James, whom we adore. We live in Grass Valley, California, which is in the Sierra Nevada foothills. We have a beautiful four bedroom, two-bath home on two acres. We love living here because of the small town, country atmosphere.




	Rick and Christine Hi! We are Christine and Rick. We have been together since 1991 and live in Carmel, California. We are both California natives and love sharing in the beauty of the Central Coast, where we have recently finished building our gorgeous, woodsy home on the Big Sur Coast. Our new home is quite large and is surrounded by forest and beautiful ocean views. Our home is in a great location, as it's just minutes from town and several local schools and is just down the road from Rick's parents and Rick's sister and her two kids. Family is very important to us.




	Mike and Jessica Hello, from Mike and Jessica. We are very excited about creating a family together. Even before we married, we shared this dream. Now we look forward to devoting ourselves as full-time, stay-at-home parents. Our home is spacious and sunny, with five bedrooms and plenty of room for children. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac right next to a state park, perfect for all the kids in the neighborhood to play and explore.




	Bruce and Candace Hello, we are Bruce and Candace, and we'd like to thank you for taking the time to read our letter. Bruce and I have been together for six years, and we have a wonderful family, with his two children, Nina, who is 13, Blake, who is 11, and our two dogs and a cat. Our relationship is very strong, and we would love to share our home, hearts and lives with a baby. Bruce is an identical twin who was born in Japan, where his father was stationed as a Marine officer.




	Eva and Bernard Hello! We are Eva and Bernard, and we would like to tell you about ourselves and our desire to form a bigger family. We are both from Europe and met 14 years ago in Paris. It was like magic in this romantic city. We have now been married for ten years - ten years of love and taking care of each other. We dream of having children and just can't wait to be parents.



	Marc and Carmen Hi, we are Marc and Carmen, and we'd like to introduce ourselves. As adoptive parents, we have an enormous amount of love to give to a child. We adopted our son Max at birth in September 2002, and we are so excited about having another child join our family. Max often tells us how much he would love to become a big brother, and we can just imagine how joyous that would be too. We have been married 20 years and have two small dogs, Daisy and Snoopy. They are great friends with Max.


	Jamie and Cindi Hi, we're Jamie and Cindi Lee, and we appreciate your courage in considering adoption. We have a pretty cool love story to tell. It began over four years ago. From our first meeting, we both felt as if we were destined to be with one another for the rest of our lives. Today we live a happy life in San Rafael, California, where we enjoy many outdoor activities with our two wonderful dogs, Taos and Kody.



	Michael and Catherine Hello! We are Michael, Catherine and Logan. Thanks for allowing us to tell you about ourselves and why we love being parents. Our son Logan is a very happy little boy. Trains are his passion. He loves to go on train rides, play with his toy trains and watch Thomas the Tank Engine videos. Logan just started preschool this year and is really enjoying it.



	Joyce Hi, my name is Joyce. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I grew up in a large, loving family, and today I live in a wonderful neighborhood, where I am surrounded by friends. Among my favorite times of the year is my annual vacation with family. This summer we plan to rent a cottage. I also enjoy spending time with my good friends John and Charlotte and their four beautiful children.




	Laura Hello. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, Laura. I grew up in Northern California and still live in the same wonderful part of the state. Family is very important to me. Fortunately my parents and sister live nearby, and I see them often. My dad is a retired school teacher, and my mom says that her career was raising me and my sister. I was raised as a Catholic, and as an adult, I attend services on holidays. The church community was a positive influence on my growing up and helped shape me as a person.




	Kenny and Bryce Hi. We're Kenny and Bryce, and we hope this letter will convey a sense of the loving home we can offer a child. We talked about our dream of having kids on our very first date. Each of us has always known that we wanted children, but it wasn't until we met each other that we found the right person to start a family with. We met one another through our jobs. Bryce is a doctor and Kenny was working as a case manager for children.




	Paul and Laura Hello! We're Laura, Grace and Paul. We are happy to have this opportunity to tell you about ourselves. We met at Michigan State in 1982 and have been happily married for 16 years. We both flew as crew members for the United States Air Force and traveled all over the world. Today Paul works as an airline pilot, and Laura has a Ph.D. in physiology and teaches part-time at the University of Califonia at Davis. We enjoy every day with our little girl, Grace.



	Kevin and Scott Hello from Kevin and Scott. We're happy to tell you about ourselves and how excited we are to have a child in our lives. We have been together for 10 years and live in the Pacific Northwest, a wonderful place to raise a family. We are thankful to have a great relationship with a large circle of family and friends, and we are excited to raise our child in a house filled with laughter, caring and lots of love.



	Alain and Lori Hi! We are Lori, Alain and Jonah. We are excited that you are considering us as adoptive parents for your baby. Jonah has been such a tremendous source of joy that we just can't wait to have another child. Even before we married we envisioned children as being the center of our lives together. We met ballroom dancing over six years ago and married a year later. Our marriage is strong because we are such good friends.



	Ron and Lisa Hi! We are Lisa and Ron, and we are so excited to tell you about ourselves and our desire to start a family. We met 17 years ago while on a tour with our college band. We married four years later and have been together ever since. Today we live in sunny San Jose, California, in a wonderful community within walking distance of our church, a museum and the local park.



	Bruce and Noelle Hello, we are Bruce and Noelle. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We want very much to become parents and are confident we can provide a warm and loving home. We have been together for four years and share a deep appreciation of family. Noelle's parents live just minutes away, and Bruce's three siblings, seven neices and nephews, and multiple aunts and uncles are frequent visitors to our home.



	Sandy Hello, my name is Sandy, and thank you for taking the time to read about me. Parenthood has been a very special experience for me, and I am delighted now to be the mother of two wonderful little girls, Alessandra and Ava. Each of our lives is better because of the adoption experience, and we are all looking forward to the years to come, as we grow together as a family.



	Tom and Kathleen Hi. We are Kathleen and Tom, and we would like to tell you a little bit about ourselves and about the wonderful home we can provide for a child. We have been married for almost 13 years. We met when we were 16 years old and became best friends. Our friendship grew, we started dating and have been together ever since.



	Kim and Jennifer It's a boy! Cole (8 lbs. 1 oz.) born on 10/23/05 Kim and Jennifer were introduced to Cole's birthmom by a friend of a friend of a friend. Hello, we're Kim and Jennifer. Thank you for listening to our story and considering us as potential parents. We met six years ago in Washington, D.C. Four years ago, we realized we wanted to spend our lives together. From the beginning we talked about our love for children and our hope that we would one day have a child of our own. Kim is commited to staying home as a full-time mother to care for our family.



	Ken and Naomi It's a boy! Isaiah Samuel (7 lbs. 3 oz.) born on 9/20/05 Hi! We are the Koltun-Fromms - Ken and Naomi, and our daughter Talia and our son Ariel. We love being together so much that we have decided to expand our family through adoption. Let us tell you a little about ourselves. We have been married almost 11 years. Both of us are professors at a small college in the suburbs of Philadelphia. We split the work day so that one of us can always be home with the kids, Ariel (age 7) and Talia (age 5).



	Joe and Jen Hi, we're Joe, Jen and Andrew Mingham. We are a fun-loving and devoted couple, and we are so excited to welcome another child into our family. Jen and I are both 34 years old, and we adopted Andrew at birth on July 19, 2003. We have a wonderful relationship with Andrew's birthmom. In fact, a few months ago on Andrew's birthday, she sent him the nicest first birthday card. Our home is nestled in the hills of California's Mount Diablo State Park.
